45 cal Nosler 300gr Partitions

Any experience with these out there? I wasn't planning on getting some but bought a box when I was to town stocking up as they were out of some of the stuff I really wanted. Kinda light for a 45 calibre I'm thinking, but hey, its a Partition.

Use them in B.P rifle

I use 300 gr 45's in sabots for my Knight muzzle loaders. They are accurate and they will put the venison on the table. I can only imagine what they'll do in a .45 cal centerfire.

Sounds like a good bp bullet powdergun. Mine are flatpoints for 45-70 - they look like they're meant to break up pretty good.......

major mushroom

I put 120 gr of pyrodex behind them. They don't go right through but mushroom very well and most deer only take a step or two before they are down. Keep the shot in the boiler room because they will damage meat quite a bit.
