.45 COLT Ammo? What's it going for these days?

As the title says... I got a box of (50) Remington 225gr semi-wadcutters. How much are the buggers worth?

I hear this is a hard to find cartridge, but it's probably misinformation... Any light that can be shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

While not exactly your typical Canadian Tire/Wal-mart fodder, it's not that hard to find either. Most gun stores would likely have a box or two, I'm sure.

Most factory 45Colt ammo I've ever seen is round nose, not SWC.

Buy a Dillon Reloader.

The very nice people at Dillion Precision Products make a superb reloading machine that you can reload 45Colt for a lot less.
You can find alot of very nice cast bullets for the 45Colt from my pal Rick at
RandRbullets@mountaincable.net.

Colt45 factory can cost you almost a $1 a shot.

You can load great cowboy ammo for revolver and rifle for tons less in cost.

prices on the bigger bore handgun and rifle cartridges are going up fast im glad i started reloading recently....iwant alot of big bores but relaoding is the only way to feed them affordably....
