Nice rifle! I like the light on the bottom. I noticed a lot of the Big Boy X rifles are sold out on various sites :( I'm a bit torn between the .357 & .45 Colt model. Not trying to hijack your thread by any means, but curious to hear if anyone has any input on the .357 vs .45 colt models. Mainly in regards to ammo availability, price and performance. It's been a while since I was checking prices on .44 mag, but years ago it was hard to find and expensive...

Nothing has changed in that respect. It's a caliber you'll want to hand load for. Having said that, .45 is the way to go imho. The rifle will be lighter and easier to point than the heavier barreled .357 Rem Mag. Of course it will also hit harder if you're hunting. .45 Colt can be loaded up to near .44 Rem Mag pressures. Whether this carbine can handle that is another question all together. Henry has a good name, solid rifles.
