45 colt in a rifle

anybody loading for a 45 colt in puma winchester 92 clone?

what sort of ballistics are you getting with heavier bullets? ie 300+ grainers.

I load for a Winchester trapper in 45 colt, 300 grain hard cast from Bullet Barn 20 grains of 296 gives me around 1700 fps.

I have that gun and the action is strong. Bought it for Cowboy, but then decided I didn't care for the sport.

It loves full or near full cases of H110 (same as W296) or H4227. I'm "only" seeing about 1400 fps max with a 310gr bullet. It feeds a variety of bullets well.
