Taking a break from this depressing election coverage...
I recently got a hold of a box of American Eagle .45 colt 225 grain JSP and decided to pull them to reload them to ruger/TC levels.
What confuses me is the projectiles are jacketed soft point but .454" instead of the usual .452".
Does anyone know of load data anywhere with .454" 225 grain jacketed projectiles? Have any of you even HEARD of .454" jacketed projectiles? My searches aren't turning up anything.
I suppose I could re-size them to .452", but for just 50 projectiles it isn't worth getting the die. Worst case scenario I just re-load them standard .45 colt levels, but if I could find the data I'd like to try them at the 30,000 psi level.
Thanks in advance.
