I was looking for some .45 brass last weekend while in Edmonton, and found it sadly lacking. Even bullets where really tough to find, finally got some 200gr XTP at P&D, but it was pretty sparse. Pheonix had some new brass, but only in bags of 500,which is a bit more than I need. Anyone know where I might find some fired .45 brass? Also, I was hoping to find some bulk lead bullets for same, and maybe I just couldn't find it but there cerainly didn't seem to be any around. I'm considering getting some molds so I can make my own,if the situation doesn't improve soon.

It is getting hard to find powder and primers, some brass is hard to find and bullets are stupidily priced almost double what they were 2 years ago. In the states it is even worse, with the new idiot at the helm people are panic buying everything shooting related. I have a cousin that lives in Phoenix and works at a sporting goods store. He says he can't even shelve it quick enough to keep up with demands. They had a shipment of 50,000 primers and a guy was waiting at the door first thing in the morning and he took the whole 50,000 himself. Bullet molds are even getting harder to find, people are making there own and hording WW lead. Look at ebay and used bullet molds are going for the same price as new ones, you just can't find anything anywhere.

I have a 6 cavity H&G 68 that I can crank out 200gn swc fairly quickly, I made a couple thousand on the weekend so if you need some I could stand to part with some.

Thnaks for the offer! So far I can still get bullets, just not much selection, and expensive like you said. I found some brass online, might have to put in an order while they still got it.

If you're looking for cheap, get once fired brass from the Equipment Exchange on this forum. Factory new brass is expensive for 45acp
