45 GAP ammo?

was looking at a nice glock in my local store chambered in 45 gap just wondering what the ammo sitiuation is like are hollow points available(for ccw)

Every major manufacturer makes JHP in .45GAP. Some I have tried and like are as follows:

WWB 230gr. JHP-830fps
Win Ranger 230gr. T-830fps
Speer 200gr. GDHP-1005fps
Fed 185gr. Hydra-Shok-1090fps
Fed 230gr. Hydra-Shok-835fps

All shot and chronied from a G37.

The Speer 200gr. GDHP have a good following and are readily available in Canada (P&D Enterprises) and have good performance, great numbers over the chrony as well. The 230gr. loadings are the ones with the best track record. The Ranger, Fed HST are the current top of the line loads in this weight.
