45 Super in Carbine

I'm pondering on re-bbling an 1889 Mauser in 45 ACP. It does seem a shame to not go with a more powerful round that can still digest 45 ACP though.
45 Super seems like a good option. Anyone here have any experience with this Cartridge?
A member who is tweaking LE rifles to 45 ACP gave me a hint as to where to source bbl's...starting to get itchy fingers and my VISA is getting hot, lol.

I use 45 super in my lee enfield #4 .The lil carbine is heavy and quite loud ,14 " barrel and is 4 inches low at 25 yards with factory ammo.Bits of pieces has 20 inch barrel blanks for .451
