.45 to a .40 with a barrel swap?

I heard somewhere a long time ago that I can turn my Glock21 frim a .45 shooter into a .40 by swapping barrels and that's it. Is this correct?

I know that you might be able to do it from .45 to a 10mm auto with a barrel and magazine swap, but I'm not sure about going to a .40. You'd probably still have to use the 10mm auto magazine, as the .40 cal mags are for the 17/22 size frame.

I think you'll find 40 S&W and 10mm have a different breechface from 45 ACP, which means the extractor won't reach the smaller case rim, even if the barrel and firing pin work.

If you Google .400 Corbon I think you'll find what you are looking for.

I believe that storm lake makes a barrel to convert 45 to 10mm w/o much more than a mag change.
