450 Marlin

Does anyone know who makes reloading dies for the .450 Marlin? I can't seem to find any anywhere. Could I use 45/70 dies or .458 WM?

Mine are RCBS, can't remember where I got them from, but they are available.

I don't think you can use .45-70 dies. Even if the big belt on the .450 didn't cause a problem, the .45-70 is quite a bit narrower ahead of the belt at the case head. The .450 dies are common enough, I've seen them at WSS and brass I'm pretty sure I saw at P&D.

RCBS for me, and yes, you need 450 dies. I take it you're in Ont., have you tried Epps? Everyone out here was short of brass last spring, I ordered some from them.
You may have to have someone order them. There's a few places here in AB that I'm pretty sure would have them in stock. I bought a Lee factory crimp die as well. Not sure if you need it, but I like the crimp I get with it.
