Tagged for interest. I'm shooting 45-120 with BP and want to stretch the legs a bit..... while compressing the shoulder! Really curious about IMR 4227 as a viable powder too. Ruger no. 1 action with a monstrously heavy octagon barrel so good to go.

I ended up using 91gr of IMR4831 with a Woodleigh 350gr RNSP. 2156fps through the screens and very managable. Ruger Number 1. Probably be a good load for Moose/Deer/Bear.
