.454 casull dies/ .45colt

Is there any reason I can't use .454 dies to roll some .45 colt?

I've never tried it as I don't reload the .454, just not sure if the LC case will go far enough into the die to crimp for instance.

No problem usually.

.454 is .100 in. longer than .45 Colt.

You simply need to adjust flaring and seating dies accordingly. If not, you could simply grind the bottom part of these two dies to gain deeper access into the dies.
