Hey guys, just a heads up!
I recently purchased a box of hornady 240gr XTP MAG factory ammo in .454 Casull and while shooting in my 8 3/8" barreled XVR i had a primer punch through thus spewing fire and primer bits into my hammer/trigger assembly, Kind of unfortunate, but glad i was shooting the x frame as no harm came to my hand or internal parts of the pistol. Lot# was: 3101810. Not pooing on Hornady, just a public warning to the rest of ya! I will update when i her back from Hornady.
