Can someone tell me if the brass that Fiocchi uses is balloon head or solid? I also wonder about the Hornady brass. While I can't find any of the Hornady I can find Fiocchi.....@ $60.00 for a box of fifty...YIKES! Has anyone seen this cheaper? TKS. Dave

I use 45 Colt dies and a 303 shell holder.

Thanks "redleg".....I used to reload many years ago with 45 acp dies but had forgotten which shell holder. So Fiocchi is solid head.....maybe worth paying $60.00 for fifty???? Yikes

It sizes the brass more than required which will reduce case life, but other than that no problem.

wholesale sports had lee 455 dies for $39.95 on there website up until
a couple of weeks ago i don't see them listed anymore but may still have them
in some of there stores.

Hi Ellwood Epp's have the Hornady brass for 17.99/50 i know i just bought 200 of them back in October 2008 .
