How do, shooting 265hbrn looking for some data with bullseye and W231 and or suggested reading. Data is pretty lean

263gr Ohaus 45-255k type bullet
Bullseye - 4.5 - 5.0 grs (MAX) - 4.5grs suppose to be most accurate
WW-231 - 5.5 - 6.2 grs (Max) - 6.2grs suppost to be ok load as well

Factory loads is 718fps w/ 265gr bullet.

I have two MK VI one 1916 and one 1918

as for brass it is a mixed bag mostly hornady and fiochi, but have a few old fiochis that are shorter and seem to require the use of a large primer.

In a mkvi I had excellent accuracy with a mkI length case made from starline 45schofield, seating a HB 265 over 5.o grains of unique. very Plesant to shoot and in a mkvi very safe.

With the fiochhi mkII length brass the bullet has a pile of jump before it gets near any rifling.

I am using a Webley MK6 with Remington 250gr RN hollow base bullets and 5.5grs of Win 231
Mk 2 cases mostly but also MKI as well.

W231 is one of my go to powders 5.5 grains seems to be the number, will roll some this weekend.
