I have a Webley Metropolitan in .450 Adams and wondering if the 455 Webley MKII Starline Brass Cases will fit.

I do have some once fired G.F.L. (Fouchi) cases that came with the revolver but they will not chamber so these are a no go.

Could someone measure the OD of a Starline MK II case and I'll check that out for my cylinder measurement.

Got a reply from Starline about their MK II brass;

The OD is .476”-.477” on our .455 Webley case. The rim diameter is .525”-.528”, rim
thickness is .033”-.036”, length is .762”-.765”.

Looks like the Starline MK II brass will be fine in my .450 Adams chambered Webley.

Thats really odd. Doesn't your sizing die resize the Fiocchi brass to .476"?

450 Adams, 455 Webley, .476 Enfield, and 45acp all have the same .476" diameter brass.

450 Adams Revolver case length is .69", 455 MKII is .77" . Many 450 Adams revolvers will accept the .455 MII case.

I think you answered my question when you said many 450 Adams revolvers will accept the .455 MKII case. The revolver came with a dozen Fouchi MKII once fired brass but none of them will chamber into the cylinder any more than 1/2 way. They must have been fired from a different revolver with larger cylinder dimensions.

I will source some new Starline MKII brass and shorten them to .69 and run them through a sizing die.
Thanks for the tips guys.

Fiocchi 455 is the same diameter as the Starline 455 brass, your 1f Fiochi has been fired, maybe in a different revolver and might only need resizing, or you may need to trim it a bit too. Even a 45acp die will work fine for resizing but you will need a different shellholder..
