I use bull’s-eye powder for 45 ACP so I have the powder. Does anybody have a load for 455 Wembley using bull’s-eye with a 265 green bullet something on the you low power end. Instead of me using black powder.

I'm thinking you mean 455 "WEBLEY"

You need to supply more information, such as which model of firearm you intend to load for and which bullet weight.

There are many antique status pistols that are chambered for the round, all the way up to S&W large frame "New Century" revolvers.

Some are easily capable of digesting 45acp loads with any powder, but many aren't.

Ken Waters gives several loads for the 455 Colt-Eley, which is a North American designation for the same cartridge in hi Pet Loads series.

205 grain - 4.7-5.0 Hensley & Gibbs swc lead

215 grain - 4.0 - 5.0 Markell swc lead

250 grain - 4.0-5.0 Remington rn lead

265 grain - 4.5-5.0 Ohaus Keith type

225 grain - 4.5 - 5.0 - Hornady jhp

If you're shooting these in an antique revolver, use the start loads

No, I just said I have bull’s-eye powder because I use it for 45 ACP. I’m looking for data for 455 Wembley four like a Enfield mark 2. Antique class and I do have a nice supply of bull’s-eye powder.

I think what bearhunter is saying, is the revolver is a Webley (the gun maker) and not Wembley (the stadium in the UK), and you don't appear to understand that.

No, it’s not Webley.

Tomorrow is Webley.

The day after that is Thirsty.

Today is Tooth Day.

Sorry guys, I just couldn’t resist. It was the perfect setup.
