looking for some recipes for my Lott . Isn't listed in any of my books. thx Ed
bullets I have are :
Hornady 500gn Interlock
Hornady 500gn Interbond
Barnes 500gn TSX flat base
Barnes 350gn TSX flat base
Cast 500gn

What bullet weight? Hornady #11 458 Lott shows 350gr bullets with IMR4198 starting 58gr@2300. RL7 65gr@2300. 500gr H4895 64gr@1900. IMR 4064 65gr@1900, RL-15 67gr@1900, Win748 73gr@1900, all starting loads.

I got stuck with a box of 458 Lott . They were in an auction and said Winchester and got them home and were Lott . I am hoping I can trim the cases down to 458 Win and reload them again

Rechamber your 458 instead. Take it out to 450 Ackley, then you can use 458, 458 Lott, and 450 Ackley. Like a big 22 with shorts, longs, and long rifles. - dan

He didn't specify what he has for a rifle , might not have Magazine room for the longer cartridges !
All he wanted was WM brass. I understand & agree on the convenience of your re-chamber advice .
Anyway , kinda derailed my load data request.

OK, P&D had some 458 last time I was in there, and you can make it from any of the standard length belted mags. - dan
