458 win mag load data Barnes 350 TSX please

Morning everyone,

I was given some 350 grain Barnes TSX bullets for my 458 win mag, but I generally shoot Nosler, so I have no Barnes reloading data.

If anybody could provide the load data and COAL on these using RL-7, RL-15, RL-22 and/or Varget as these are what I have on hand, it would be much appreciated.

Its not exactly what you’re looking for; but I did quite a bit with 350 grain TSXs and H4198. I seated them so I could crimp in the second groove, which was needed for powder room. 69 grains gave 2500 fps in my 24” barrel and Ingot up to 72 and 2700 without pressure signs. Thing is , 69-71 would shoot into the same group and same POI as my 450 grain A-Frame load and 72 buggered off high. I settled on the 71 grain load and culled a pile of buffalo with it going 2650.

The goal was to see how far a .458 could be made into a .375; at reasonable ranges it worked quite well and hit harder.

Use 450 marlin data as a starting point.. workup from there..
Have a 458 lott , thought of light loads out of the old girl..
