45LC dies for 460?

Relativity new to reloading, and need dies for my S&W460.Want to knowif the 45lcs will work on the 460 brass, and if I can put magnum loads into the 45lc brass.Also any loads for the 460 that you can share would be appreciated.thanks

Eddy you need to learn to use the search function. This question literally just came up here a week ago or so. Do not remember the answer.

You can not use the 460 dies to reload the 45 colt as the case is longer on the 460 then on the 45 colt and you would not be able to flare or crimp the bullet. I would assume that you could use the colt dies to eload the 460 but I have never tried as I have both sets.

As to loading the 45 colt I would advise that you do not load it to magnum levels.
