well i was expecting the worst when i touched the first round off but it was very mild compared to what i expected!

I started with 45 Long cold and shot around the bulls eye for a few cylenders full and mover right to the 454 casull and she barked with 36.5 gr of H 110 and a 240 XTP mag bullet!!!

Still waiting on the 460 brass and ammo so i have not shot the heavy chevy loads yet but it calls for 7-8 more grains of H 110 and not a whole lot more velocity...

I dont expect it to be much different than the 454 casull!

Am i wrong lol!
 
I couldn't tell you, I tried a 444 once in a T/C, that was quite something. I've shot both 45LC and 44 Magnum, but never the 454 or 460 but I would imagine it's going to be fun...lol
 
I have never shot the 454 but I have shot both the 460 and the 500 S&W one handed. It looks a lot more intemidating (sp?) than it actually is. That comp works wonders. The weight of it helps too.
 
I load 38grs H110 with 240gr XTP-Mag's gives me 1900fps out of a 7.5" Ruger SRH.

No wonder they didn't feel like much in that monster gun you got there... :D
