Same thing though probably not interchangeable.

I believe the Ackley version has a longer throat and is better suited for heavier (600 grain) bullets.

If you have a Brno 602 or 550 I think the 470Mbogo a better choice.

Full length H&H brass necked up to use 470 bullets. Blown out to remove case taper. Good big bore, slightly cheaper to run then the Mbogo. - dan

Of course, lol. 500 gr bullets at 2300 fps, 600 gr bullets at 2000-2100 fps. I have no idea about recoil levels. It kicks more then my 450 Ackley, less then a 460 Wby I played with for a while, about the same as a 470 NE. It has broken two stocks so far (the 450 did one). I think the next one will be a heavy version of the A Square stock, myabe made from laninated wood if I can find a carver. - dan
