Hi All

I am trying to find out the value of a 48rnd box of .303inchMk7Z
It is Canadian Arsenal 1951 date stamped.

I'll include a picture once I get home and upload it.

There was British (Radway Green) WW2 surplus (1942-1943) at the Carp gun show last fall and it was going for $25-30/40rnds.
Being Canadian and unopened what you have is most likely worth more than that. I'd ballpark it at $60ish if the box is in good condition. That's priced to sell; you can likely get more but you'd have to wait for the right person.

Last bunch of old ball ammo I bought was 5-6yrs ago, I was paying around $1 a bang for cordite rounds... Then proceeded to test my No1 Mk3 sight calibration... Minute of boulder out to 600 :)

This stuff is Nitro-Cellulose because of the Z marking. It isn't cordite.

Ya I know exactly what it is an have emptied dozens of them boxes I was just taking a trip down memory lane...

They used to sell for $12 a box at the LGS in the 90's... Now it's $1 a bang... Seen some of it at a gun show last year with a $50 price tag, I still have "some" under my bench and "some" IVI newer production that I paid $1 a bang for.

40$-$50 I would think, If it was ww2 dated it would have some more collector value than 1951. but being as it isn't cordite loaded it does have more "shooter" value

The price range mentioned is about right. Commercial is at least $1 each plus tax. So, up to $1 each for milsurp isn't wrong, but only if I really needed some. The unopened box is really not a factor for shooters, only collectors. I would be more inclined to the higher price point if there were a half-dozen identical boxes from the same lot on offer.
