So Pop's bought me for xmas, The 5.11 HRT Snipers Watch.

Something that will take me forever to figure out, well not forever awhile LOL

Built in Ballistic Calculator.

But is it ever nice...

Anyone else uses this?

Available in three field-ready colors, the Field Ops Watch is built on a high-density polycarbonate frame and features 5.11’s SureShot™ ballistic calculator, a digital compass and traditional chronograph features. (Chrono includes three time zones, alarm, stopwatch, countdown timer and day/date displays.) The Field Ops also has a turnable bezel with directional markings and includes an optional extended band for wearing the watch over your gloves. Imported.

The compass isn't just that dial, you press the button and It gives you your dirrection and degree's, Wish it had Mil, Be great at work and its pin point accurate, Even can change the Magnetic Declination.

It will take me awhile to set up and get used to the Ballistic Calculator. So all you need other then this is well a wind/temp reader and well your range finder if you don't know the range..

But has anyone used it?

I've got one... sweet little toy.

I don't know if I'll ever use it cause most of the info is in my log book, but its neat to have.
 
it will give mills, at least for scope settings, not sure on compass settings.

Wish the Compass was in Mills...Be great at work...

It gives the scope correction readings in Mills or Clicks IE U/D 2 and L/R 3 pending on your scope setting..Haven't taken it to the range yet....

BTW I never got lost in the woods....

I need my Rifle back from the shop, A Chrono and a Wind/Temp/Speed Reader and I should be able to test how good it is.... I know it will help me a lot since I'm not too well with math...
 
I got the titanium one, I personally haven't used the Horus Vision yet, (been meaning to though). I have had it just a tad over a year now, its taken quite a s**tkicking, but the analog function doesn't work anymore. It just stopped one day.

Other than that, its big enough to use as a backup weapon as well.
