Good evening. I am looking for a solid optic for my ACR (NR). I currently use a 3x9 Trijicon but I would like to change it up with something a little more "quick target acquisition". I have already owned and sold a TR24 1-4 and TA31 ACOG. The 1-4 was a lot brighter and had better eye relief than the TA31, but I found the triangle to be a bit big when shooting past 100 yards.

I am currently looking at a Trijicon TA55 as they seem to have come down in price, is cheaper than the 1-6 razor or the Elcan, and a solid 5.5 magnification is pretty nice. I know its a beast of an ACOG but the razor weighs almost as much anyways. The other option I was toying with was a TA22 2.5-10 as it is set up to be BAC at low magnification and with a 30mm tube and a 56mm bell, its nice and bright........but kind of big......

Has anyone tried a Trijicon TA55 or a Trijicon TR22?? Other options are a Vortex 2.5-10 or a nightforce 2.5-10, but again im looking more for quick target acquisition and will be shooting in the 25-300 yards range.

I have a 2.5x10 vortex on my sps tactical. Great optic for the price crystal clear and dummy proof lifetime warranty, run it over with a truck they give you a new one!

I have a 2.5-10 vortex and the 1-6 razor.

I wouldn't recommend my 2.5-10 for your applications though, as I've got the 44mm lens. They've got an ultralight 33mm 2.5-10 PST model that would be a much better fit for your ACR.

Personally I love the eyebox of my Razor 1-6. Lots of space, lots of brightness.

I've sighted my NF 2.5-10 on my ACR the other day. I had originally set it up with an aimpoint micro but the NF just felt more like it belonged there, I find the ACR too heavy for the H1. The NF might not be the best for 25y quickies but it'll work. And it'll work as far as you wanna take it too, not to mention it looks frakkin awesome there...
