hey, can someone please help me find a canadian dealer who sells barrel liners. im in the GTA area and looking for a 5.56mm/.223cal liner for a project im working on.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is going to be the chamber. A liner must contain the chamber or the HP gas will slip between the bore and liner causing evil results. That would take either a tapered/contoured liner or a thick liner, which is basically a new barrel inside the old one. Liners in the conventional sense are sold in long lengths an cut to the rough size to be epoxied in place. This is not a process for HP cartridges such as the 223. If you really need a liner you will need to turn down a bbl blank to your requirements.

will for this project i wont be firing any real cartridges.
i have ordered a liner from a suplyer in the US (Brownells).

.22 CALIBER LINER - For .22 Short, Long Rifle and .22 WRM.

SPECS: 4140 steel. .223" (5.6mm) groove diameter for .22 Short, LR or WRM (only if gun was originally chambered in .22 WRM). 1-16 twist (LR and WRM) or 1-20 twist for Short. 5/16" (7.9mm) O.D., 25" Liner - 26-3/8" (67cm) overall, 25" (63.5cm) usable length. 32" Liner - 32" (81.2cm) overall, 30-5/8" (77.7cm) usable length. Not chambered.

so im guessing that this should be fine for what i need.

thanks for the help.

Those are liners for .22 rimfire cartridges, not suitable for .223rem/5.56 nato. What do you need a liner for if you are not going to shoot out of it?
