Does anyone have one of these and any reloading data on it? Its based on the 30 M1 CARBINE necked down to .22.

Does anyone have one of these and any reloading data on it? Its based on the 30 M1 CARBINE necked down to .22.

"The Handloader's Manual of Cartridge Conversions" lists the following reloading combinations for the 5.7 Johnson:
40 gr. spire point bullet - 14 grains Alliant 2400 - 2850 FPS
50 gr. spire point bullet - 14 grains IMR 4198 - 2700 fps.

Loads from fourth edition Cartridges of the World
40gr.bullets- 14 grains 4227-MV2850fps
-12 grains 2400- MV 3000fps
50gr.bullets-14grains-4198-2700fps
