I hafta admit...this is pretty special, and damn ingenuos as far as ideas go for upper assemblies on AR15's

It uses standard P90 mags and ejects the spent casings down through the AR15 magwell

:D

If they are made and supported like the R22's I'm not sure they' be very well accepted up here.. Don't get me wrong I love my R22 but they've had their share or problems and I'm not much for being a guinea pig without being properly compensated...

They need to hire some quality control.

Plus if I am going to shoot something the size of an AR, might aswell be a full AR. Cheaper ammo too.

There are two problems with this upper from my viewpoint. The mags have to be neutered to 5 rounds, and I'm not sure they would work after plugging. Plus the upper is a title one firearm in the US, so export could be an issue.

They should make it in .22LR. Then we could have whatever mag capacity they could fit on there.

I think they did but it turned out to be a POS AKA R22 I think the problem is that poor manufacturing= Over priced JUNK

There are quality control issues with the R22, but it is most definately not a piece of junk. It's the nicest .22lr I've ever owned. Frankly it's more fun on the range than any of the AR's I've owned.

I just read an article in Shotgun News about the new civvy semi only PS90. It comes with a 30 round mag, rather than a 50 round. But not to fear, says the article, it actually is the 50, with a plug of some sort inside. Remove the plug, back to 50 rounds. Naturally this article was writtten by a US writer, for the US market, so I am not suggesting anyone in Canada pull out the plug, but apparently the mag can be limited to whatever number of rounds desired.
