Go over to the u.s for a weekend and get some.

RRrrrright!
Let's see.......................:
- drive to the US and spend $XX.XX on fuel and the bridge toll
- spend the same, or more $$$$ for the same ammo
- then...........................and much more importantly............stand the chance of spending some time locked up care of Uncle Sam, and becoming "Bubbas" belly and hand hold/rest!
You get the picture!!!
Plus all the other "##### slaps" you'll get thrown at you by the US Gov't.
Not worth it IMHO.
I travel to the US a lot on business and do some window shopping. Our ammo costs are so close to the US costs it's not worth the hassle, or risks of being caught, as an alien, with ammo, or any ITAR item in the US.
To the OP, you should seriously consider getting some basic reloading equipment (i.e. RCBS starter kit) and roll your own ammo to feed that baby. I just purchased a .338LM and I'm in the process of setting up to reload.

DE is a tank, I'd have no problems relaoding for it. Man upHand loads; take a look over at "my poor Glock". That's what can happen with a .45 and a 10mm, imagine what .50 ae could do!
