.50 alaskan?

I know of a CGNer that had one in a Browning B-78, and there is a company in the US that converts Ruger #1s

Hey the wild wild west guys have the weird bushwacker... thats definitely restricted right?

I think a take down, with a stock, winchester style rifle in a 50cal
would be a nice comprimise between defense 12 guage shotgun, and a more accurate long rifle.

What do you guys think?
Man it must cost oodles to reload this consider the its like 60 dollars for 20 bullets:)

50aka

I have one lots of fun to shoot.got it from rob in whitehorse.get my bullets from richard graves in wetaskiwin ;produces a great prduct .510 bullets come in 550 grain & up .brass is 348 brass blown out. robin

Yep, .50 bullets are easy now that Richard is making them. I cast them from 300 to 650 grains and Richard makes jacketed up to 910 grains so far. Brass for the .50Alaskan is easy too, blow out .348s like Robin says and Starline offers .50 Alaskan brass ready made now. I wouldn't touch the Marlin conversion, but the 71 would be great, I had one 450 Alaskan as well as the .50 Alaskan M78 that Robin has now. That is a nice rifle and I deeply regret parting with it. I hear it stops deer too huh Robin?
