50 beowolf/beowulf barrels and ammo?

Are there any barrel manufacturers out there making the .50 beowolf/beowulf barrels or to have one would you have to buy the Alexander Arms completed uppers?
I'd love to get an 18.5 and build my own upper, but haven't had luck with googlefu :( Also, any canadian companies selling the manufactured ammo? I know it's not a very popular round yet so figure it might need to be reloaded.
 
As far as I know, there is no Canadian source for factory 50 BW.

And I guess as long as a gunsmith has a 50 BW reamer, he could make you a barrel.
 
I think your whole .50 beo upper build would be a flop because I think there is a number of specialized parts for the oversized behemoths. Also if you buy a complete upper from armtac they make sure to hook you up with brass and some mags at normal prices, meaning you save like $100 a mag.

Problem with getting the Armtac is they don't have the barrel length I want for the build, also I believe the only specialized parts are an upper that has the ejection port opened up a bit more, a 7.62 BCG, and then the .50 beowolf mags (which I like the price check venture ones) Am I missing anything?

Other than the barrel length, I'd just simply like to do a build myself just for fun.
 
AR Stoner and Satern Machining both sell 12.7x42mm Barrels. The only other parts you need are a 7.62 bolt and an upper with an enlarged ejection port. Satern also produces these.

Don't count on Armtac for anything Beowulf. I highly doubt they'll be seeing any stock from AA anytime soon. Brass is now readily available in the US. Not sure if companies will ship it to Canada or not though.

The trick is to search for 12.7x42mm, not .50 Beowulf. AA has trademarked the name, so they're the only ones that can use it.
