50 bmg - 30 cal sabots?

Anyone know of a place in Canada that has these?

I want to put together some extreme velocity 50 bmg rounds with 30 cal black tip projectiles.

I want exactly this but a place that will ship here or already in country.

Backup plan is to try a 3d printed one.

The biggest problem is they are generally inconsistent and the twist for a .50 BMG is not often fast enough to stabilize .308 bullets, even (especially?) at hyper velocities.

I mean, 1:15 isn’t too bad really, but I’m not too concerned about long range accuracy. I just want them for the novelty of it really.

I have limited experience with sabots: OEM Remington .30-06 with a 55gr .223 sabot. Accuracy sucked at all ranges in general..... I still have some & should run them over a chrony just for sh*ts & giggles.
What does your OEM advertise for accuracy / velocity?

I have some 30 cal ones For 308 and 30-06 and the accuracy was good enough. Probably like 4 moa so not a laser but good enough to test on a plate. Those ones are maybe 3500 FPS.

Not sure on the 50 bmg. Haven’t looked into it too much until I’m able to get some.
