.50 bmg ammo source???

Does anyone know IF/where you can buy loaded .50 BMG ammo in Canada?

There seems to be a proliferation of 50 Cal guns available (just acquired an HS50, ) but can't seem to find ammo available to shoot it with. I would like to pop a few rounds before diving into the whole reloading equip thing for this gun, . Gun shows seem to turn up a few single rounds now and then sold as a curiousity but thats about it.

If any one knows of a commercial source please advbise!!

We are importing match ammo from Saltech Switzerland and ball ammo from PMC. Hopefully both will be available this summer.

Thanks for all the info guys!..visited the alberta Tactical site and they do list ammo for sale...Good to see shooting edge may also have some soon.

as it happens, a buddy advises he has a couple of hundred rounds squirreled away (and no gun to shoot it from). As luck would have it he also has some AR .223 variants for which I have ammo, but 'no gun'!!!

I see a swap meet in my future or at least a few 'joint trips' to a range.

will you be selling boxes as well as cases? I wouldn't mind having one box around for fun. certainly don't want a case though!.

The PMC comes in boxes of 10rds.
