^ In terms of an f-class style bipod that is an excellent choice. If your looking for something a bit more compact check out "long range accuracy" (LRA) bipods as well as atlas bipods. Their pricey but they can handle a 50 no problem.

^^ +1

I own an Atlas bi-pod, they are very well built, compact, light and strong.

Another one of these would be my choice to mount up to a .50BMG.......................IF...............I can ever afford a .50!

PGW offer an Atlas on their .338LM and .50BMG builds. I have never seen/read there has been an issue with this setup.
I know an Atlas can be tough to find, but they do come up for sale every so often on the EE, that's were I found mine.

However, a while back PGW were offering several for sale on their site on here, if you are looking for one you may want to contact them.

I am leaning toward the atlas right now but am having trouble finding one. What do u mean what type of shooting? Isn't there only one kind with a 50 bmg?? The bipod is going to go on a new acuracy international 50.

Wolverine supplies is the only canadian dealer that I know of. Your best bet is to have one shipped from the states. I recently bought some stuff from Mile High Shooting and they were good to deal with, not sure if they have the atlas in stock but I know they offer them.

Wolverine may not have them in stock but they seem to get them in often, I bought four from them over the last year and never had to wait more than a week or two for any of them.

Just looked on there site and they do, but I wasn't able to complete the check out because Alberta was not listed! Sent them an email so hopefully they will ship it to Canada! Thanks for the info every one

If you find the AI brake as abusive as I have, we now build a gill brake for the AI50s that are MUCH more polite.

Thanks, I end up going with the atlas, and bought it from rifles only, they were the only ones who responded to my email, with shipping it was still 20 cheaper than in Canada.
