50 bmg

Query .50 BMG in the search and you should find your answers.

There are a few dealers that supply stuff....

Unmentionable dealer in Alberta has the most stuff (all under 1 roof) :D ...

P&D, Epps, Wolverine, have primers,
A few guys on here have brass for sale...
Projos can be had at Wildcat Bullets,
Powder at most Dealers that stock a good supply, (I cant think of the guy in Ontario that has surplus powders as well)

Just to name a few....

The "search" option seems not to be working at all... I've been trying for the last week at least!

Thanks for the info! I'll try to locate that unmentionable dealer!

You will find that the mark up on 50 BMG components is outrageously high (the unmentionable dealer) , but it is a highly controlled market with very few dealers controling it. The main problem is the stoppage of 50 BMG ammo and components being exported from the USA by their government. You can buy 50 BMG ammo loaded with Hornady A-Max bullets for US$3.50(Can$3.94) each in the USA, the unmentionable dealer sells the same thing for $15.00 each.  :runaway:

Who is the dealer that cannot be named? GT has a sticky in the general discussion forum about a dealer that wouldn't play by the rules regarding advertising, but the name of that dealer is blanked out: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73405

Are we talking about Alb*rta Tact*cal R*fle Su*ply? I came up with that name simply because R*ck was the only dealer I knew of that stocked .50BMG stuff.

Silverback I think you are totally out of line.
Yes ammo in a FOREIGN country that we can NOT LEGALLY acquire it from is less expensive than what is available in Canada. So what, its there, we are here. ( At least you are, I 'm not right now)
I buy 22 ammo at Walmart here in Scottsdale for 1/2 of what I buy it for in Canada, so does that mean all Canadian dealers are marking up 22 ammo outrageously??? I think not. Each country has its own high and low priced stuff, depending on trade restrictions, tarriffs etc. An AK for example can be had in the Soviet Republic for under $20.00 USD, yet in the US the same AK, if BATF tax stamp is affixed is worth several thousand dollars. In Canada they are nearly worthless now, due to the laws governing 12-2 and 12-3.
Having to LEGALLY bring in ammo (which is HAZ MAT) from across an ocean has some significant freight costs, I think Canam can attest to costs associated with shipping ammo.
I fail to see what the US cost has to do with anything, when last I looked you are in Canada.
At least this unmentionable dealer has done his homework and found a source and CAN supply ammo, which is a great deal more than can be said for the many other dealers who only sell the rifles but can NOT supply ammo or components or reloading gear. He stocks ALOT of it, and inventory costs money, no matter the commodity. The smaller the market the higher the associated costs, thats just business.

Update! Well, I found some once fired Lake City casings (I got 750 of them!), I have some bullets (mostly milsurp AP) and a reloading machine. I only need some primers and powder now... And a decrimper for the primer pockets.

Epps is out of bullets... No answer on other components yet
Higginson has not replied to my repeated emails...

If someone needs casings, I have plenty to spare!
