Awesome rifle... Scary price... Same distance as other .50's:p
also, no hotllinking to non site sponsors:slap:

converted today, $8800 CDN, plus paperwork and whatnot.

As long as the yanks refuse to allow export of anything 50 BMG related, all you can do is drool.
Until they change the export rules, support your Canadian rifle builders like ATR, above.

In fact, we should be supporting our own, regardless of their export laws.

In addition to ATR, I believe that Ian Robertson imports the .50 sized Barnard action.
The CheyTac .408 is a similar EDM rifle, is it not?
Interesting design features in the EDM action. Ruger 77 type bolt stop, Savage pattern primary extraction/gas shield plate.

@AlbertaTacticalRifle:

Does the .50CAL rifles you're making can be taken down into pieces to fit in a suitcase? Could they be easily mounted back, in less than 1 minute?

I have a steyr, most of them you can strip down to fit in a hard shell case, however I bought a soft shell case from ATR that will fit the complete assembled rifle, it can be worn as a backpack as well. Also it can be used as a mat while shooting... worth every penny. BTW 50 cal. rifles in Canada range from about 5K and up......Dont get me wrong though, thats just the start of 50 cal ownership before you know it you'll have 10k invested...

PS Im not sure why you would put it in a suitcase???? and being able to suit up in less then one minute???? interesting choice of words.....

Who cares?

Im sure rick would take $8800 from you, put some accessories on one of his rifles (which im sure would shoot circles around that thing) and even cut the barrel to fit your suitcase.

Too bad... :(

So you're the only ressource available in Canada?
Interesting... ;)

What are your models and prices?

Certainly not.
There are other sources of rifles and 50 cal related stuff in Canada. I seriously doubt any other shop has as much on hand as I do however.
Our custom 50 cal rifles start at about the same $$ as a Steyr, $5500.00,
We are also importing the AMSD Nemesis rifle from Switzerland, it is mag fed bolt action.
They will be in the $11 to 12K area just like the AI50s are.

I'll certainly vouch for the quality and precision of Rick's rifles.
But, most important to me, when buying from Rick is the incomparable customer support. :D

Thank you for your feedback in this thread.
It's really appreciated to have informations about what's available in Canada in Heavy Caliber! :p
And as for the AMSD Nemesis, it's actually a really nice piece! ;)

Thank you... I'll take good notes! ;)

Here's one. This gun fits into a 1750 Pelican case and is garanteed to shoot a 3"-5" 5 shot group at 1000yds. Just thread the barrel in, tighten down with a barrel wrench and commence destruction.

Here's another one that was delivered shortly after this picture was taken.
