50 cal vs 9mm

My wife shot this bottle of soda water with my 9mm.

All it did was put a hole in it and knock it over.



So I thought I would see what my 50 cal Yeager would do.

Been there, done that. Against a single water bottle, nothing is quite as impressive as a small fast varmint bullet. My Hornet puts on more of a show against a ~400ml bottle than my 45/70 does

I hear you Prosper, It's really surpising how the different calibres "hit" I always liken a PRB to a bowling ball, slow but hard hitting.
What surprised me more than anything was the fact the pop bottle was half empty and had a hole in it

300 wthby mag

Was at the range with some friends and we put three 4l milk jugs filled with water at 100M. We were each going to shoot one. I shot first with the Wthby at the middle one. The blast tore open the ones on each side as well. Quite a sight but the other guys were a little pissed because they didn't get to shoot a jug that day.
