Because it is literally free advertising. They do a contest like this to grow their followers and have a larger amount of people to advertise, again, for free. Liked and shared, thanks Wild West!

Good question. I think that just because we put a contest on FB, doesn't mean we think the world revolves around it, does it?

And if lots of people and lots of companies think the world revolves around it, maybe you're missing out on something.

I like it because it's easy to stay in touch with people all over the world but it's not for everyone. FB seems to be an older crowd
too, most of the younger people are on other types of social media.

If you ever doubt the power of social media, consider this.
Donald Trump does not rely on mainstream media. If he did, he would have never won the election. He tweets his messages and
they roll over to FB and Instagram.

Just never write anything you don't want the whole world to see!
