500 Smith and Wesson barrel maker

Anyone know of who in Canada can make me a Marlin action barrel chambered in 500 Smith and Wesson?

I would not go that route myself on a Marlin 1895 seeing as factory 500 S&W pressure levels are a tad high for this action. One then must consider as well that the bolt face is cut for the .608" dia. 45-70 rim, and the rim on the 500 S&W is .560". This could cause extraction issues unless one fits a custom extractor.

A neat 50 cal Marlin project to consider is an 1894 in .50 AE as it has the same rim diameter as a 44 mag. There's a number of these builds out there and they work rather well.

This seems a very well thought out analysis of the situation.

Since .30-30 has a maximum pressure of 42,000 PSI and .500 S&W has a maximum pressure of 60,000 PSI, it's really too much for a Marlin.

Thanks for the input. The price of the bighorn is way out there. Love to get my hands on one of those H&R Handi-rifles that came out in 500S&W. No luck finding one and of course they are no longer being made.
Sold the handgun and found I still have ammo, brass (mostly new brass with a few once fired), and a new bullet mold. I know, how the heck does someone forget they have that stuff. Trying to get back into reloading and collecting equipment/supplies. None of it is set up and piled in a room. Oh, and I am getting old.
I digress. 60,000 CUP. Holy cow! Wonder if the Win 1886 action would work. Other than that, bolt action or break open set up I suppose.

Didn't the 1886 come in .50-110? One in .500 s and w would hearken back to that I'd say.
