512 or 552 EOtech

Hey guys I'm looking for an EOtech at this time... Is it worth the extra 100 for the 552 can someone school me for a second... I'm looking for an EOtech what model do you recommend for me for m4 platform...

511/512 are good. Do you frequently use NV goggles? No? Then you don't need the 551/552 series. Seriously NV capability is the ONLY difference. Nothing else.

If you can swing it, I'd look at the EXPS2/3 line... in my opinion, a great step up from the 'old versions'.

OR - go with Aimpoint T1/H1 and never even think about an eotech again.

I think the 512 run on 2 AA's so thats a bonus.

Just picked up a used 512 and it has NV....not that I will use it.
I have a 511 as well and the batt are expensive (N size) but the unit is smaller in size.
