Like the title says, anyone have experience putting a 535 barrel on a 500? If it's a matter of making a spacer/adapter for the mag tube that's not an issue. I'm just primarily looking to make sure it will still lock up. And I won't be shooting 3.5" shells either.

Do a dry fit compare the chamber ends don't mess around with the mag tube just use one the goes with the barrel if it don't look the same or fit the same forget about it.
I am looking at something similar but a heavy walled 590 barrel with mag tube & choke tube installed on a 535 if it works I am going to look into getting it rechambered to 3.5 inch but if it don't work with no or little fitting I will be forgetting about it but if it does it will be a one of a kind unless Mossberg gets wind of it and starts making them like that.
