535 Mag Tube Removal

I gave the mag tube a light twist and it didn't budge. I assume its screwed in there.

Anyone ever removed a mag tube from the 535? Anyone know if they are similar in assembly to the 500, 590, 838's?

Are the Mag Tubes removeable?

Just unscrews. Sometimes they're a little tight. You can use a strap wrench to avoid maring the finish. If you don't have one, I've got one here.. bring it by next time we shoot.

.. No real need to take it off however.

I'm sure you know where I'm going with that anyway!
I like to take things apart down to their base components before I'm satisfied. LOL. I can see the start of a thread there... I think it's just tight because of the finish, and they may have Loctite'd it in there. I don't think I'll bother anymore, but the strap wrench is an excellent idea.

I was thinking about getting a high vis follower and was wondering if I could take a look at the one in there right now.

I doubt I'll bother though, just curious. Thanks man!
