Beautiful work. I don't know much about specific muzzle loader styles and history, but I recognize great craftsmanship when I see it.
I like the understated elegance of this rifle.
Cheers,
Stomp

This rifle was built from a Jim Kibler kit. I ordered it with a plain hard maple stock to better show the carving I would do, And only slightly reshaped the precarved stock. I usually work from a plank. I have assembled several Kibler kits and want to offer my experiance and or advise to anyone thinking about building one. Hopefully we will get the photos sorted out soon.

Never did shoot it,built it with plain hard maple so I could practice my carving. I sold it to a friend and reports are the lock is very fast and excellent accuracy. Would expect nothing less from a Chambers lock and Rice barrel. He is hoping to get a deer with it this fall. Nice to know it is being used.

Check out the Builder's Thread in Black Powder and Antiques. It would be nice to see your builds posted there.
BTW - having handled a few of Wayne's builds, I can safely say mere photos can not adequately convey the quality of his work.

Very nice piece of historical and art work with it being a shooter too.
