.55 boys anti tank ammo value

Depending on loading and condition, they can bring anywhere between $5 and $15 a round. Add a bit for the clip, deduct a bit for a bulk purchase,..............

Ammo One, Stateside, lists 1939 Kynoch at $49.95US, each. Exactly what you have sold in 2006, on one of the U.S. auction sites, for $189US. Not seeing anything in Canada.

Crazy prices from guys who just deal on the internet. Hey, you might get lucky and find one.
However, "Exactly what you have" is irrelevant since we have no idea what he has.

I dont have any. I was looking at a stripper clip of 5 in decent shape. The asking price is 125. I was wondering what the value of the rounds are to see if i feel its a good deal or not.

15to20$ for the stripper. The ammo will very with the type, if I am not mis taken 3 or 4 kinds ,dummy empty, practice three machined grooves on the shell, lead core and stealcore. The practice being the most expensive 50/100$ then the dummies don't know if they were factory then the steel and finely the lead cores 20.00$ on up. I have scored them from 10 to 25.00$ and empty shells for 10.00$ bullets 2/15.00$ each all depends on how bad you want them. The price has gone up since one Canadian vender put a crazy price on a dummy ,over 100.00$. They are still kicking around gun shows and collectors, better chance at finding them there. Best of luck to ya!

There's a reason why a fair number of Boyes owners have converted their rifles to .50 BMG.

don't know why anyone would do it now brass can be made from .50 bmg just needs to be resized and placed between the extractor and the ejector by hand then fire formed and neck sized so it headspaces off of the shoulder.

In most cases it would be ammunition availability. It's far easier to find .50 BMG ammo or even reload your own. When was the last time you saw .55 Boyes projectiles available? Unless you're spinning your own, you won't be finding any.
