not sure if its been covered- can you still get 55 gr. excellerators for 30'06 ?

Even if you can find them, chances are you're just wasting your money. I've shot them before and the accuracy was terrible, and I have not heard of anyone who could get better than 4" or 5", usually much worse, groups with them.
