Set trigger wobbles laterally on pivot point. Contacted Wolverine as warranty contact so we’ll see.

Bought the gun at Rat River Outdoors Dan suggested reaming chamber to 06 to match long action. Any body have any experience with that? Case shape is different so ???
This was an impulse purchase as the rifle was 775 down from 1275 and I love my little 452.
Not crazy about long action 08 but if you love walnut and blued steel like I do ( yes I am an old man) this rifle ticks those boxes.
 
Love my cz 550 and 527 triggers..
First I've heard of bad quality from a cz trigger.
Must be unlucky.
For the price , cant beat that set trigger. Unless your bruce13.

Rechambering from .308 to .30/06 is not as straight forward as you might think since the older '06 case has more taper than the .308, so the .308 chamber is larger in diameter, further forward from the bolt face. The barrel has to be set back, rethreaded, then the chamber can be cut to the correct dimensions for the .30/06. Each additional step increases the cost of the job, and the cost of the work will quickly exceed the original cost of your rifle. The smart money sticks with the .308. If at some time in the future you want to invest a grand on a custom barrel, that might be the time to consider the .30/06.

If the factory trigger is unsatisfactory, which might be why the price of the rifle was discounted, I'd get the Timney trigger without hesitation. If you send the rifle out for warranty work, the postage back and forth will cost nearly as much as the new trigger, and the rifle will be gone for weeks, if not months, and then might not be fixed to your expectation if the warranty folks think the factory trigger is within spec. For about $200 you get the drop in Timney that you can install yourself, (if you're handy) adjust to your preference, and you can take the rifle shooting the same day.

308 can do anything 30-06 can do when comparing the two cases. The long action is more of a plus in my opinion you can throat the rifle chamber more and get a little more speed out of your bullet. You can never go wrong with CZ. Just get the trigger fixed set it at 2 1/2 lbs and forget it.
