If you look this up on youtube you will find a video of a bunch of amateurs trying to fire this monster of a rifle, only the last man knows how to handle it.
Anyways, after I showed this video to a friend his eyes lit up like a teenagers first visit to a strip club and instantly expressed interest in purchasing one. He currently owns a .338, but wants something bigger. He originally wanted to upgrade to a .470, but now wants this monster .557
So I created this thread to find out if anyone here owns one or has had any personal experience firing one.
Also, I would like to find out where one of these rifles can be purchased. I have checked several Canadian sites but they do not carry any large calibers over .50 BMG and I have not bothered to try calling any of them yet.

There is also a video of a couple guys in Finland I believe firing this rifle but I cannot find the link.

"...now wants this monster .557..." Tell him to lie down until this thought goes away. It comes from A-Square. They don't publish the cost per round though. Think in terms of about $40US per shot though. They make the rifles too.

Unless he has one fantastic source of income he probably will never find a rifle in .577 t-rex or in .470 that is affordable. Maybe an old beat to hell bottom of the barrel double rifle made by a nobody manufacturer from the turn of the century in .470 express. That will still cost at least 3 times as much as a new Weatherby in .460 weatherby magnum.
