Anybody have any experience with the 572 rem with the rutledge choke. I find them kinda useless but neat to play with. Any collector value to these?

Totally useless and fun to play with if you are 10 years old. Brother had one and it was a good grasshopper and bee killer with a range of about 10 -20 feet maybe for bees:D
His gun was designed for crimped-brass shotshells, NOT the CCI capsule of today which won't work in it and I have not seen the original winchesters in 20 years not sure if they are even being made any more
Worth nothing IMO but some yanks do collect the rare ones for 400 or so

Also don't know if I would call it a choke. It was a smooth bore 22 drilled in a 410 blank but I may be wrong on the blank part
Update not my words
If .22, then it's simply the smoothbore model. If .410, then it's a Routledge bore, which would have approximately 14" of .22 smoothbore then step up to a .410 bore the rest of the way to the muzzle. It should also be stamped thus on the barrel
