Yeah. 5 shot solid frame. I was concerned reloading for it would be super expensive so i passed.

I got to see one years ago , a old British chap had it . I didn't get to handle it at that time ( it was all locked up in a display cases ) I did get a cartridge for it . Didn't get to see him again after that, he had past on .

For those interested, the revolver sold today at auction for a mere $25,830.00 USD...definitely a reflection on the rarity of it.

45 colt was the best black powder pistol cartridge . Bigger is not always better . look at the 44 Russian to 44 magnum comparison .
