I much prefer receiver sights on rimfire and centerfire. A rifle sure carries nicer too.

Just went optics on my IPSC Pistol after I could not see indoors any longer. Stop fooling yourself if you require one don’t fight it.

I’m 52 and I can’t see well enough for that.

Maybe I am lucky my vision is still 20/10 but not as fast as i use to be. Aperture sights have made the difference to me. I still love to shoot though with express sights just a little slower. Honestly a scope feels like cheating. I will get there soon enough i am sure. Its like the challenge of bowhunting I guess. A few still like trad gear. Just going on i guess with this corvid 19 dead time.
